Hey guys,
I had my seat off the other day, and noticed for the first time that the cover had been re-stapled. The seat has felt kinda thin ever since I bought the bike. After I noticed the cover had been re-stapled, I've been wondering if someone has thinned the foam down a bit. The first owner was a lady.
But on the other hand, she did drop it and scuff the plastic a bit, so it could be that she tore the seat cover and had trouble with replacing the new cover, maybe having to re-stretch and re-staple the cover to get it to fit well.
I was looking at the photo's of the GS on the Suzuki site, and the seat in the photo's appears to be thicker than mine.
Doe's my seat appear stock to ya'll:

That ain't stock. Someone shaved that Buddha Loves You.
Well I guess it's no wonder it's been hurtin' me hiney!
hnh
just open it up and stick a gel pad in there or get a seat off ebay.
Interesting exhaust. How does it sound?
.... Like a scooter
Yep, definately not stock. Looks to be about 1.5" lower.
Really, it is probably more comfortable now than it was stock. SV650 seats are close to 4" thick, but notoriously uncomfortable. However, once shaved about 1.5" they're much more supportive. Unless your knees are higher than your butt, you'll be fine. ;)
Right, its been alterated, completely alterated.
You will have to modificate it now.
Cool.
Srinath.
Oh, you HAVE to get rid of that pipe.
where did the pic go?
