My neighbor's Shadow is rusting. It has 26.9 miles on it. He dropped it at 25 mph he says. Scared to get back on it. It now sits under a cover since I donated my old one. It's rusting underneath. Says he can't sell it because he owes too much.
Financing stuff sucks.

Oh well. Maybe he should have learned how to ride before buying a motorcycle.
Kinda like I should have learned to walk before trying to run... Got the scars to remind me.
Yup, a nasty side effect of this "banana republic" we live in
Dont buy crap you dont need, cannot use, with money you dont have because its easy to do so.
BTW, I dont understand why he cannot sell it because he owes too much on it. He is going to pay for it one way or another, he either pays off the loan right now with money from his pocket + what the buyer pays him for it or he pays the loan off with a good 30% premium, and at the end the bike will be worth 1000's less.
Or here is another brilliant Idea, ride the MOFO. Yes, learn first then ride. Its a POS agreed, but its not that bad. Its got a cool fat rear tire for its size and CC.
Cool.
Srinath.
i actually tried to buy one of those last year. financing fell through. the dealership was nice until they found out i couldn't get the bike. bastards just called and said,"can't help you." and hung up the phone. i decided then that not only was i not going to buy a bike from them when i get the money, i'm not buying a honda either. :flipoff:
