is that little bandit 400 a four or a twin?
^^^^^^
It is an inline 4-cyl.
16 valves IIRC. :thumb:
I searched for a bandit 400 as my first bike and couldn't find any that didn't crash ,so I bought my GS and had to come by
a shop to fill some oil and what do I see? A clean red bandit for the same amount I just paid !
But now I'm glad with my choice I don't think the bandit would have held as well as GS
But that is a cool bike ,it screams to 13,000 rpm red line !

My ZXR400 hits the red line at 14700 rpm lol
Your ZXR makes about 70hp at the crank in unrestricted form IIRC :thumb:
True True :icon_twisted:
Trade 'ya. One ratted out GS for one ZXR...
Kasumi., Arnt u 18? so how can u be riding a 70 bhp bike? With the DAS ur limited to 33?
Yea i am, and have had restrictors but im kinda sceptical about them. I had them in my bike and it ran like pants, the only thing it really limited was acceleration which was ridiculous anyway. Ive had them out again for a few months now as a test to see if its running better. And it does.
Now its for sale though so im offering it with restrictors or not...
For sale? Noo.... You can't be serious?
Shipping to America will cost me how many limbs?
I think terry quoted about £500 quid or some for shipping my bike to him lol. Im up for shipping it to the US if one of you guys wants it!
kasumi, what's your reason for selling it? isn't that a bike that's hard to come by anymore? :dunno_white:
Very hard to come by good ones. Most are wrecked by now and have seen the track and been smashed to pieces and replaced. I bought one and restored it, it has custom paint job, custom mirrors and windscreen, alot of body work. Carb cleaning, new plugs, re tuned, new full micron exhaust system, brake rebuild front and back. Its in fantastic condition now.
Im selling it as i have had to buy a car as ive joined the RAF and the bike isn't practical for moving from base to base or coming home on the weekends, plus i would have to store it at my parents house. Its reached a point now where its at its maximum value and will soon start to depreciate until it becomes really vintage and prices goes up. Right now its worth more than i bought it for so it would make sense for me to sell it now. I love it to pieces and i love motorcycling and miss it every single day but just can't afford to keep them both and it makes sense to sell it when its in good condition and worth alot.
makes sense. bummer when you gotta sell something you love.
My Mate had one , not as nice condition as u , its fate was into a Ditch ...
Hehehe hence why they are off such good value for good ones at the mo... I can see how it could be done - they really are pocket rockets!
