First, I'd like to say thanks to everyone who contributed to this board. I'm not new to bikes, but I'm new to the GS. I intro-ed myself a couple of months ago looking for carb kits. The last help I needed was today trying to get the &%$# stock airbox back in the bike. Did a search and found what I needed here.
Brief history is the original bike owner bought the bike in Cali, moved to San Antonio. She dropped it once, decided biking wasn't for her. She let the bike sit a few years, gave it to a friend of mine who said he could get it running again. He tried a few things, let it sit a few more years, then offered it to me for free if I could get it running. Well, its running so I have a free GS. Its the famous purple with pink swooshy stripes though :icon_rolleyes: Good think I'm secure...
The bike still needs some work, like tires and a good cleaning, and as soon as I figure out how to attach a pic I will. I'll go back into lurk mode now, just wanted to say thanks for the help and the site!
Hopefully this works:

Wow...I'm in awe...it's beautiful. I wish mine had some sweet gaudy paint scheme. I'm thinking of repainting mine black with the suzuki logos and other acsents in Hot Pink.
