Title: Woodcraft rearsets, GP shift
Post by: l3uddha on November 20, 2007, 02:37:36 PM
can someone please explain to me what's needed to do this mod? i remember a thread from a while back but can't seem to find it.

I think it consists of:

CFM rearsets

gsx-r shift pedal (what years work?)

gsx-r shift linkage (year ?)

something else?

Ahh, working on it myself right now.

You need a 99-200X TLR/SV/GSXR gear shift arm

1 CFM Woodcraft foot peg for the shifter to turn on(SV/TLR or GSXR are all the same from CFM)

I suspect a 8.5" shift rod thing but have not got my peg yet to measure it

1 file or dremmel to put a couple of special cuts into the rearset so the peg does not turn

I also believe you can use a stock shift pedal with woodcrafts but cannot conform that yet
