Title: I need a fork tube Please help.
Post by: John Severin on December 01, 2007, 06:06:45 PM
Just found out one of my fork tubes is bent. All I need is the chrome tube, Nothing else. Both tubes are identical so any one will do. If you have one for sale that would be great.
Just let me know what you want for it.

Thank you,
John

If just 1 bent leg, you may be able to straighten it. If its bent without a kink in it, it will come back easy and be good as new. Steel is pretty much going to be as it originally was. Its got almost no memory.
Cool.

+1  I had my bent forks (no creases) straightened.  I found someone who does it; I think it cost maybe $70?
