^^^^^^
VERY good :thumb:
You're due in Aviano by end of August, right?
If you have some time to ride, mid-August to September (and possibly more) is a wonderful riding season IMHO.
Within a very few hours (maybe tens of minutes?), car or bike, from Aviano you can reach Carnian, Slovenian and Austrian mountains, Venice, Trieste and the Istrian (Croatian) beaches :thumb:

Well, after all I think and hope you'll have a nice time there, lots of things to see.
And I'd like to tour the North-East of Italy too this summer, by bike of course..I hope I'll have the opportunity. :icon_mrgreen:

i should be leaving here in mid augaust. i have no idea when i have to report to work. we should be givin some time to find a place to live. some of my friends were telling me that there are some really nice towns around aviano to live in so hopefully the have some places available when i get there. i will probably be out on my bike every day once i learn my way around.

Did you not know that?!

Alot of the western countries have bases in their allies countries. You've had a few in England over the years, We have an RAF base over on the west coast of the US, one in Germany, Cyprus, Falklands.
