OK clown #1 comes rolling in to a 4 way stop. He stops.
Then clown #2 comes rolling in to stop on the opposite side. He stops too.
Clown #1 waits for clown #2 to come to a complete stop before rolling away.
WTF ... you stop and you go. The other clowns do not matter.
I am wondering, if there was no other clown comming to the intersection, will clown #1 wait there forever ???

Clown #1 is smart. You cant trust that clown #2 is even going to stop. Ever been pulling onto a street and oncomming car has his turn signal on to turn where you are and they dont??? Never assume the other driver is going to do what he is "supposed" to do :thumb:

Very very very true and that is the key rule of staying safe on roundabouts over here.
Take a simple roundabout 4 exits, north south east west, you approach the roundabout from the south and decide which way your going to go, you observe the cars coming from ALL OVER the roundabout, cars coming from the north will block traffic from the east so you need to watch the whole roundabout to see when your gap is coming. Your ready to go you see car coming from the north. Look like theyre going streight over but actually come all the way round the roundabout to west exit! no signal. On a roundabout you should signal if you intend to take 3rd exit by signalling right, if you want to turn left left signal, if your going streight on, no signal until your past the exit before the one you want to get, then you signal off the roundabout. People over here don't signal on roundabouts and you have to learn to guess what direction they are going in. The only particular problem with no signaling is people who look like theyre going streight over - no signal but then swing all the way round right to where youve pulled out!
hey atleased he stopped, I'd rather some one stop for too long then blow the stop and cause an accident.
