Title: 94 Bandit GSF400
Post by: Foreverunstopable on December 10, 2007, 12:45:44 AM
May not belong here but I wanted your guys opinions. I don't need another bike in the barn but I have a lead on a 92 Bandit 400, 2 owners, both female and receipts for all work/service up to date, just over 9000miles and never laid down, bone stock, OEM tool set and manual. They want 1k and includes two helmets and saddle bags, case of oil, 2 filters and bike cover. What do you guys think?

If it runs, all I can say is, "What are you waiting for?" ;)

OK, I guess I would at least check the current value(s) on [Kelley Blue Book (http://www.kbb.com/)] before I broke out the checkbook.  (For my ZIP code, the [Trade-In value (http://www.kbb.com/kbb/Motorcycles/Trade-In_1992.aspx)] is $1120 and the [Retail value (http://www.kbb.com/kbb/Motorcycles/Retail_1992.aspx)] is $1715.)

That's a very cool bike, I'd love to have one myself. For that price it's a no-brainer, go buy it.
Good bike to leave as stock as possible.

Turns out to be a 92... but who cares. I just needed that little push to get it.

Congrats man, now lose that front fairing and ride the hell out of that bike, I forgot to mention that it's a bit quicker than a GS too!

You shouldn't even be asking this question. You should be bragging about your deal and posting pics.

I read somewhere that machine has a GSX400-R motor. Is this correct ?

Reguardless, I think you need to beg/borrow/steal a video camera with decent sound and rev it a little for us.

Congrats on another fun machine. :)
