Yup. WD 40 works wonders on white wheels.  I've got a white rear for sale if anyone wants it btw.

A government study costing millions of dollars and taking 10 years to produce shows that GS owners with black wheels lubricate their chains more often.   :icon_mrgreen:

I just went white to bronze.  I'll tell ya, be happy with the wheels you have.  Its a royal pain to paint them without decent weather.  If you decide to change the color, just press out the bearings and powder coat them.

Yea, the fairings are off, because... well.... why have them?     Im about to chop the tail off in the next few weeks anyway.
Either today or tommarow, I'm going to reroute all the electronics to be hidden and then it will be just the bare subframe... I think that will look pretty tough.

My wheels are more of a gray now and most of the paint is peeling or chipping off.I plan to paint them or powder coat them when I put on new tires next spring.  :thumb:
