anyone want to go for a ride in March when its up to mid 40's F outside? :icon_lol:
I live in Norfolk, VA ad am still riding now! A bit chilly after the sun goes down, but still not too bad. Raining this week, and i dont like the rain and drivers here, but ill be back out when it clears up.
It hit 70 for 2 days last week in Fairfax, VA. I'm down for a ride when its warm enough for everyone.
Hey gang. Reporting in from Alexandria, VA here. I spend more time in the DC/Baltimore area than PA right now, so I'm down for any rides going on around here.
vtlion did you move from state college? Let me know if you want to do some ridding when the weather turns.
nm, i see your PM now, cool!
Just seeing this...I'm thinking about doing a multiple day trip type deal sometime this year if anyone else is interested. Probably camping - you know, for the whole motorcycle trip experience
I'm not a very good planner though, so if it's just me, it'll probably be a spur of the moment weekend thing.
badguy,
i have a couple of cycling pals who try every year to plan and run a multi-day trip down skyline drive with camping along the way. We succeed about once every two years.
Keep your eyes open and you will undoubtedly see a thread about it in the meet n greet sometime this spring/summer. :thumb:
the moment the snow goes i am out of here and will be looking for couches to sleep on. i would like to meet as many board members as possible this upcoming season
Frankie,
I can't offer you a couch right now since I'm essentially living at my parent's condo *sigh*
but you can count on me coming out for a scoot if you pass by DC or Baltimore anytime.
i recently moved back to MD finally. Im down for any riding with some people. Ive yet to ride with anyone since ive got my bike. How depressing...
This weekend's weather looks pretty lousy, but next might not be so bad according to the extended forecast. Also, we spring forward in a few days, so that gives an extra daylight hour for after-work shenanigans :thumb:
Maybe a Wednesday evening meeting somewhere would be cool to get some dinner and get acquainted with some area riders.
We should all keep an eye on the weather forecast. If everything looks good March 15/16 I might be up for rolling off a few more break-in miles on the new ZZR600 :)
just seein' this.. I live in the Pittsburgh area and would be willing to travel a bit to meet some of ya'll - as long as it's on the weekend ;)
I'm game for riding, just got the plates from the DMV so I am ready. I'll be riding this weekend if the weather holds out....Central New Jersey...
