and i really liked it.
its got tons of power, and its pretty easy to handle, even at slow speeds.
very good wind protection, and cool features and gadgets.
but heres why (once i get the money) im still probably going for an ultra classic:
1. It has these wierd outriggers under the passenger floorboards. they are like crashbars, they hold the bike up if it tips over. problem is when i stop, my foot gets caught under them. I pretty much dropped the bike because of this. (i didnt actually drop it, it was one of those slow motion, bike goes all sideways and you have to muscle it back up things. problem is thats a hell of a lot harder to do on an 800lb bike.)
2. Windsheild, when adjusted for the most comfortable airflow, is directly in the way of my view of the road.
3. No heel-toe shifter availible (yet). it should come with one stock.
4. 1500 mile service interval. thats rediculous
5. there is only one dealer near me and nobody really works on them
but all in all i was really impressed with it. it is a damn cool ass bike.
oh yea and i also saw the new raider, which looks awsome, but somehow not as extreme as it does in pictures
and i sat on the new b-king, it is stupidly wide, but other then that pretty cool
Yeah the new b king is stupid looking in person. The new busa isn't half bad looking though.
1500 mile service interval, yea that will seem like its very very looooooooooong and hence ridiculous once you get yourself a Harley.
1000 miles and $1000 per service is what I heard ...
Cool.
