I finally got around to putting some new paint on the ol' girl. I finally decided to go with blue iris metallic, a Peugeot/Renault colour from the late '70's. I have to paint a car in the this later on, so I thought it would be good practice. I haven't polished any bits yet, I'll do that tomorrow before I put the bike back together.

Looks good bubba! :thumb: I love that color
Ta, it looks really nice on the car. It also works well with black and silver which are the other main colours on the bike. :thumb:
Wow, that lookes gorgeous. Could you please ellaborate on the technique and the process that lead to such an impressive result.
I would like to paint my motorcycle as well and could use every bit of the information. Please tell.

Jenya, the only advice I can offer is to do a good job on the primer and to take your time. The truth is there are some rough spots on the paint job.
I read your description of the paint color, but it sure looks like a stock suzuki bandit. Maybe it's the flyscreen , I dunno.
Nice job !
nice paint!

Did you cover the seat yourself? It looks SUPER comfy. :)
Nice looking bike!
Cheers,
