I find it a bit funny that "prisonplanet.com" is one of the only places that is claiming this so far... I think it may be spurred by http://www.ronpaulvotecount.com  But

I do like the idea that Paul's team has to track  the accuracy of voting

He is there is already a fun raising attempt in progress. It will cost him 65,000 to do so. Don't ask me where they get that number, but I have heard it from two sources now.

Kucinich did it.  Yet another reason why I'm probably going to vote for him.  He's admitted the recount is not about him but helping Americans to believe in their voting system.

I'll say this though - I don't think the recount is going to change anything.  If anyone had plans to rig an election it wouldn't be the NH primary, and there are still all-paper ballots, just counted by machine - so this would be a particularly bad choice to try to rig as it's easily caught.

Ron Paul is the "ONLY" man "for the job". "They" will never allow that to happen. "If" by some stretch of a MIRACLE, Obama gets the nomination, ................he will get a "come to Jesus" meeting as he has never imagined. This will be done by "them". Hillary already knows "them" on a first name basis. The others know them in varying degrees. Obama is so green and "wet behind the ears", I think he'll get the shock of his life. I'm more than sure he'll "get an introduction" if he really gets near winning.

On another note from yesteryear. I had read in the news that "Arnold" and Warren Buffett landed at Lord Rothchild's estate (in England) on his helo-pad to go in and rap and slap with him. I found that very odd indeed. The election for Governor of the State of Kalifornia hadn't even begun. Warren said Arnold was there as a "friend".

I think the 65,000 bucks is for a state recount, its about $2500 for 1 area/county/city or whatever...Ron Paul is the man for the job, I love the constitution and our Bill of Rights, I hate seeing them erased and We the People enslaved... :2guns: heres to nepotism, cronyism, and war in the name of religion :flipoff:

Is Ron Paul aiming an independent run ?? If so, I'd really hate it if Hitlery were on the ballow, cos that will be the only situation Hitlery will win. Hitlery will lose to any republican as long as RP isn't taking repubuican votes.
Cool.

He has always claimed that he has no plans to run independent or libertarian. We'll see. I really think he is the only Republican who can beat a democrate.

He _is_ the only republican who can beat a democrat other than Clinton.  The GOP debates are essentially the tryouts for the Washington Generals right now.

But really, let's not get caught up on the idea of parties; I would be just as happy to see Kucinich in office.  For every bad idea he has, Paul has one of his own.  And yet they're both so much more reasonable than any other candidate on the most important issues: foreign policy, civil liberties, torture, and accountability of the Bush administration - wait, that last one might only be Kucinich...

Paul and Kucinich are close. They vote together on many things. I like Kucinich as well. It's too bad that the only candidates who remain consistent, say what they mean, and practice what they preach, are the "Long Shots"

Has anyone seen this documentary? It's nearly two hours, so watching ALL of it isn't 100% neccessary.

It's so amazing to me. Something should be done. Ron Paul wants to eliminate the income tax. Huckabee recently mentioned that he wants to do the same.
I only believe one of them.

income tax was a temporary measure to pay for the first world war

Oh, I know that Frankie. But the definition of income in the constitution is a profit from business. (I.E. A corporation or store, a service, etc.) There is no such mention of a person's wages. Personal compensation for one's labor is his/her own. The government has no right to it. With that said, there is no law that says the typical working American has to pay income tax. It should have been repealed after WWI. I'm sure the gov. just grew accustomed to the cash flow.

the fact that we are able to have discussions such as this without the fear of reprisal is a benefit we sometimes do not realize how precious it is

I don't appreciate freedom, I expect it.

I can't feel "lucky" because I haven't lived a life without it.
