Title: Tail raiser, shock or?
Post by: TheTazZ on January 13, 2008, 09:32:40 AM
As far as i can tell my pretty little gs has been lowered. Id like to raise the tail back up a bit but, how...
As i see it i have a couple of options:

1. Get it back to stock height with the stock "spacers" (what are those things called anyway?)
2. Leave the spacers and change the rear shock with gsxr or sv
3. Get a tail raiser kit
4. mix and match from the above.

What would you do?

The tail raiser kit are Longer wishbones , easy to find some stock wishbones , or have them made out of steel for you ,

A New shock could work ,and would make it a better ride anyways

New standard links aka dogbones aka wishbones are about $11 each online at RonAyers.  Add shipping charge and they're probably close to the same as at local dealer.

How was your bike lowered?  Aftermarket lowering links have more than one hole at one end and the shorter hole can be for restoring to standard height like on the Diamond links the 2 holes are standard hight and 2" lower.

I'd go the link route.
