Post by: JeffD on August 16, 2003, 07:55:23 PM
Just curious if anyone has tried this or knows that it is Possible/Impossible.   I just moved into an apartment that says you cant work on vehicles in the parking lot so I am hoping I could just run out there one day for an hour and do it quick b4 anyone says anything.  Thanks again.  :thumb:

if you live on the first floor just pull it in your house then move it onto your patio (if you got one), or lay down some plastic in your living room.  thats what i do.

When I just rejetted my carbs, the screws were very hard to get out and they stripped. So after some vice grips and some cursing, I have know replaced the screws with allen bolts. That might make it a little easier to pull the bottoms off with the carbs still on the bike. But I haven't tried it yet.
