hah yah, its "cloverfield" i think?
anyways i thought it was ALRIGHT
however people in the theater booed at it.
The whole movie was shot in firstperson from a handheld camera
it was extremely shaky and sort of low quality-- but if you get into the movie you wont notice it and it actually makes it interesting
BUT some people i knew had to leave because it was giving them a headache
I would say go see it if your one of those people that enjoys different movies or that are not a movie critique.

The monster looked kinda like that illustration, but a little skinnier and more agile looking.

Like Jeremy said, all from one video camera, so, a bunch of shaking around during action, but it was a good quality video camera otherwise.  I've seen it compared to Blair Witch, but I've never seen that.  From the previews I've seen of Blair witch I'd guess this is easier to watch

Not a whole lot of introduction or closure if that bothers you, just bits and pieces you pick up throughout the movie.  Overall I think it is well done and the story is told well, especially coming from one camera

Went and saw it last night. VERY VERY good movie IMO. I ended up getting a bit of a headache and some nausea from it but didnt bother me. They never full explain it which kinda bugs me but being that it was freehand from one camera, it was VERy well done, especially the cgi. I probably wont see it again on the big screen but i will buy the movie for sure. Oh and the closure sucks, lol.

If it's about a mutant whale, I don't think I'll be watching it. I've had enough of mutant whales after waking up next one or two years ago after a big nights drinking.  :icon_rolleyes:

One boast I can make, is that I've never gone to bed with an ugly woman. Sure I've woken up with a couple of fugly ones, but I've never gone to bed with an ugly one.
