i just got done watching cloverfield and that link that Scott sent, thanks man.  i am glad i did not spend 7 bucks to see it.  there is one big monster and a bunch of baby monsters.  no  who what where why and how at all but one could surmise that the initial large explosion was a impact....IE space ship or monster meteor type thing.  who knows.  my recommendation is to watch it on the site until it does down or wait and rent it at blockbuster.   hey do i have a new job as a movie critic now? along with vegetables CABBAGE

it was diff than the 99 one.  it is not known is the creature is terrestrial, aquatic or from space. it does have little baby monsters running around and they seem pretty easy to kill.  this creature seems to like eating people and not a big pile of fish.  the movie is very difficult to watch because of the camera movement, it can be dizzying at times.
