hey guys just making a little come back here...this was my home forum until my great purple gs (which srinath repaired the carbs) got stolen 1.5 years ago and just been lurkin once in awhile.....since then ive been racing my nsr50r....anyways cant race anymore due to work..so im looking for my next bike....funny thing is when youve been riding for some years you get picky which one to buy...ie comfort, insurance, power, fun factor, poser factor, cost etc....im kinda torn with these 4 bikes for different reasons...and maybe get the forum peeps can point out what they like....in no particular order..

oh and dont hate the harley too much ok ;)
get teh sportie :D, ehh most here will hate on teh harley giving generic reasons why. ie oil leaks vibes etc etc etc. but when i had mine, NEVER had any of that., plus if ran properly, can get 200k out of the top end befopre rebuild, and almsot that muchout of the botttom end. ( plus with the way its constructed, you can get tranny work done, w/o having to split teh engine cases. or do arinfg job w/o having to remove the engine itself) and fairly cheap on insurance
Do you have an idea about how you want to ride? They will all be so different. Between the 4? Triumph 675. Oh yeah.

I think the proper answer is that you need all four in your garage. DRZ-SM for hooligan city riding, Ninja250 for fuel efficiency and flickability, Sporty for comfort and cruising, and 675 for high speed twisty riding

Yamahon... what do you hear about the 1200N's lean angles? I like the look but read a lot of complaints about shooting sparks in turns. I should demo one someday and see for myself I guess
the only pic that showed up for me is the ninja so that is the on i would pic. the only way i would ever take a harley is if it were given to me and i were paid to ride it. even then i would abuse the snott out of it

I've got a street bike, a track bike, and a fool-around pitbike, so I've decided for my next bike I want a motard. Have you considered this motard? I'll promise ya an Aprilia is at least as reliable as a Harley Davidson..

Let us know your intents and purposes for the bike. They are such different animals that you can't really go off a single pic. In my case I'd either get the daytona or the harley. Can't go too wrong with a nightster for the cool factor and being in the poser harley crowd. Any real harley riders seem to even snub the sporties around my area. They call them "piggies!" The daytona is just beautiful looking at it. Nothing there holds a candle to the lines and even color in this case to the triumph. All around I'd get the triumph.

well yeah if you drag pegs/pipes youll go sparkie, i did at teh dragon, but as far as sportish ridingh goes, it covers both types reasonably well, aggressive riding and a bit of touring. and plenty of torque. granted, it wont go into a turn like a sport bike will, it is more abrupt, but they are fairly easy to ride hard. and come back for more. now the bank angle switches on them, wont go into effect, until youve pretty much committerd to a wreck. ( shuts the bike off, so it dont go flyin away) ive ridden a few triumphs as well. and i do want a rocket 3, but teh hd, is EASY to work on ( and no you dont have to do that on a daily basis :flipoff:), carb jobs can be done in 10 mins or less, ( if carbed)

if i had a choise i would take the triumph first then the ninja, suzuki and the HD i would use as a flower planter
