Saw this on CL and found it interesting. Those of you who want to make completely custom bikes, take notice. Looks like he used a Harley frame and GS engine.
Ahh, take 154 pounds of 1980's tech, bolt it to 250 lbs of 1930's tech, put wiiiiiide tires on it from 1990's tech, and it's a sure sale.
At least he was honest and said the frame was a 'killer'. ;)
Nice find, wonder if it smokes and leaks oil like a proper chopper ?
That exhaust will sure make it cool ;)
it looks like he had a bunch of junk laying around, welded it all together and threw a GS engine in it.
yuk
Looks like he failed the audition for Junkyard Wars
Agree, Jlittle. The bike almost looks like one of those small engine "choppers" you see that have 50cc weedwhacker engines in the back with a dummy engine in the front. Bet this thing handles like a box of rocks.

Look, just look at them ! They're obviously quite offended at your remark ! What an insult !

Seriously though, you're right, it would handle like something not fun at all.
this guy must be from alaska where pot smoking is legal . looking at that bike makes me want to poke my eyes out
LOL. Stuff like that was common in the early '70s. Bunch of random parts thrown together. People forget, but there was a time when "Chopper" and "Harley" weren't synonomous. Back then there were far more Honda-engined choppers than everything else put together. 350s, 450s and 750s mostly. Lots of Brit-bike ones too.

Ummm.. Smoking pot in AK is not legal... :cookoo:
If it was I would live there :thumb:
it is no longer a crime in canada and pot shops have opened up all over the place in vancouver. police, right fully so, have better things to do.
yes sir early
70s free love = HIV 70s Honda choppers = mental retardation
ewww
I'd ride it!
Seriously, a little xs400 was about the most fun bike I've been on yet :)
I'd have no problem with a chopper that uses any engine other than a Harley, but this bike does look poorly assembled. Juding by the pictures, it looks pretty ghetto rigged. If anything, I'd prefer a chopper with a Japanese engine instead of the filling-jarring Harley engine which I feel isn't designed too well to begin with. Choppers are not my style, I like a bike that handles well.
Does any one want to take a ride to canada ? I need some ideas for a junk yard chopper ( or something like that )
I don't see how the two coincide.
ya i was wondering that too
well if i was to get smoked up that would be the place to do it . but anyways check this one out http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/mcy/525321025.html this one looks ok

Frankie, I don't think this is true. While it's true that police often look the other way, I'm pretty sure it's still illegal here in Vancouver? :dunno_white:
i thought there was a guy in gastown who opened a shop and openly sold pot and seeds. i have not been in the city for years so i do not know first hand
Yeah, the "Prince of Pot" has been in the news lately:
