Title: Mirror (Naked Version) Thread Size
Post by: simon79 on January 31, 2008, 12:48:09 PM
Hello all.
I was wondering about getting a new set of rearview mirrors for my 2001 naked GS, for a couple of reasons:
-vibrations (blurry vision)
-aesthetics.
I currently have the stock (I believe) round chromed mirrors, I'd like to put on rectangular ones.
Been using the search function and the Wiki before asking this, but oddly enough I couldn't find a direct answer :dunno_white:

SoOoOoOo:
-what's the thread size/type? 10mm/both right-handed I wonder?
-do suitable mirrors fit on any naked GS' year (pre and post 2001 facelift)?

Thanks in advance. :thumb:

The threads are 10mm and they're both RH threads.

Super fast answer Bubba, thanks a lot.  :icon_mrgreen:
As a matter of fact, I'd slipped over a sentence in the Wiki mentioning 10 mm threads, but I wanted to be sure it was for both pre- and post-2001. Looks like it is. Sorry...brain fart and night shift consequences. :icon_mrgreen:
