Title: superbowl
Post by: frankieG on February 03, 2008, 10:51:22 AM
i don't think i have ever watched a game in my life but i think i may watch this one.  it is a Cinderella story no matter how it turns out, either an upset or a perfect record.  being from new england i would like to see that Pats win.  so who is watching tonight?

My wife was for the NY Giants, so I "had" to "be" for the Patriots. They have a great name right? Anyway...........
somewhere toward nearing the end of the game, they showed this older guy (Giants Team)..........that had been taping players up and keeping their shaZam! in order since 1948!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He had been working for them for 60 freaking years. It was to be his last game. My heart was bleeding. Truly. Then, I started thinking ALOUD that "the TV" wanted me to have sympathy for him (thus his team as well). I should NOT have thought aloud. My wife actually hit me. She screamed that I was a "Conspiracy Theorist Extremest" gone way too far out there. In this case she was right. What a man. 60 years of working. Since 1948. I did congratulate her on "her" team winning and I toast that dude...........whoever he is. The News Media probably didn't say shaZam! about him for all the years that he carried spit, towels, uniforms, and taped all the billion dollar atheletes.

Superb Owl competetion - the people brought owl's they had raised and the best owl was awarded the "Superb owl" title, and cup and lots of $$. Its a funny thing, but its the biggest thing in texas. Look it up. You'll know, and you'd also know why they say "god bless taxes".  :thumb:
Cool.

Sweet. Glad the Giants one.  Have you seen the perfect town ad with the Dolphins?

Classic!
