So after my initial disgust with my bike and spinning a balancer bearing, I ponied up and pulled it apart..
took all the parts to the machine shop... now I have a problem...
none of the bearing have the color coding on em...
can anyone help me out here? i guess 4 colors = 4 sizes... not sure what to get...

Bolt the cases together, measure the dia of the bearing housing, then measure the dia of the of the shaft journal. Subtract the journal dia from the housing dia and halve the figure.
Service manual quotes an oil clearance figure of 0.020 to 0.044mm.....call it 0.030, subtract this from the figure above.
The figure you are left with (in mm) will be the thickness of the bearing shell required and will fall into one of the four colour codes
Green......1.486-1.490
Black.......1.490-1.494
Brown.....1.494-1.498
Yellow.....1.498-1.502
Suzukis figures are confusing because the cutoff points overlap ie; 1.490 can be a green and a black???
You are going to have to accurately measure to 3 decimal places......best let the machine shop do that.

Where did you find that info ? FSM ?
That info is in my Clymers.
The figures are all quoted in the FSM......but the method isnt.
Dude, no one uses color, use a plastigauge.
