Title: Interest in Katana 600 parts?
Post by: makenzie71 on February 16, 2008, 12:43:31 PM
I found a eal on a 95 Kat 600 and am considering picking it up to part out.  Forward fairings, upper, guages, flyscreen, etc...all shot.  Forks, suspension, wheels, motor, etc all great.  I know that the forks and wheels and shock and suck would be a big sell here but I don't know for how much.  Hit me up with some prices so I can see if this thing is worth it.

Mak. Make me a deal on the carbs, I will then get 2-3 gstwinner's bikes back on the road.
Cool.

If it was 3 years older that would be perfect. I need a 98-02 rear brake rotor. I'm pretty sure pre 98 kats have a four bolt pattern on the brake rotor, as apposed to the 5 bolt pattern on 98-02's.  Should be a lot of interest though.

I found a rotor on ebay. So don't worry about it.

I use floats, diaphragms and needles and the ocassional emulsion tube or the float ... essentially needles and diaphragms are the first to go, and its for fixing up other people's carbs.
Yea its a 4 and has larger mouth and what not ... cant get it straight bolt in. Heck I ahve 2 - 1 on the rack and 1 split, off those with the GS parts all stripped off it.
Cool.
