Title: Little Rock, AR
Post by: spc on February 18, 2008, 08:47:30 PM
OK, so my opinion of the town was skewed from step one as I was associating it with 2,000 miles in the cage...............
A friend of mine lost his license over here in Sunny SC and subsequently his job, so his dad told him to move back in with him.  I got paid to drive his sorry ass out there.
That town is freaking tweaked.  The whole town has either very evident inbreeding or severe anti-social tendencies.  And what kind of a place lets Bill Clinton have a f%$king Library, hell I didn't know they could read in AR.   Let's not even start on how smart AR had to have been to elect someone as *cough* well balanced *cough* as Huckabee.

On the bright side, I detoured on the way home and went through MS to see some family.

Because you were in a cage on the wrong roads. I like Arkansas it has some great roads and fantastic scenery, and I don't live there but when in hurry to get my ride on I can make a run for the border in a couple of hours spend the day in the ozark twisties and be home all in the same day.

Arkansas is not my favorite place, but I did spend 5 years of my life there ... 4 of them within 10 (air) miles of downtown Little Rock when I was in the 5th-8th grades.  My dad retired to Arkansas from the Air Force years later, so my parents and 4 of my siblings live there.  None of my immediate family were born there, but some of them graduated from high school and college there....  :icon_rolleyes:  And l have lots of in-laws and nieces and nephews with Southern accents.  ;)

Oh ... and it's true: if you want to ride some awesome MC roads all day long, head up to north central / northwest Arkansas!  :thumb:
