I know the price differences right now and I can't believe it. The buells are up to 116 at all dealerships, the optilux are around 60 bucks or so but not dot approved and they aren't up to par compared to the others. The dominator is the best all around because it fits into the stock parts on the gs but they just cost 150 plus. Does anybody know or have any info on either any other dual lights that would work or where to get a set of buell lights to plug into??? I really want to do the dual conversion, but price is the option right now. I'm just wondering if I should just suck it up and get the buell lights or the dominators really.
i had the dual dominator lights but sent them back. i found them too hard to install and way too manyh wires left in the open
i tried to buy buell signals. the counter help was functioning on a shared brain or something, and whoever had it that day wasn't at work. couldn't pull up a picture without a part number, couldn't just find "signals" in their parts catalogue.
walked over to a bike and said "THIS ONE!" pointing to a signal on a xb9 or whatever, and they were like "Ya, we still need a part number."
finally one guy came over and fumbled until he found the parts. they're no longer $14 a piece. now they're $39 EACH. i was like dude, no way. k tnx, bye.
the buell parts have gone through the roof locally. guess they're making up for poor sales on the parts for folks dropping their buells. :(
Then does anyone have a place that does actually charge 60-70 bucks and not 116 for just the housing??
Dominators hard to install????? Geez... they just bolt on. There are wires that take some time to hide.
I have bought 2 sets and would buy a 3rd if needed.
Personally the Buells look like crap.
