I am interested in cutting the fender all the way out and doing something totally different. Like the black bike with no fairing, I'm thinking of doing a silver bike with no fairing but making a sheetmetal piece to rivet in place so as not to have all that crap sticking off of it. It'll hide all the open spaces and look like a little solo tail more or less. That and a katana shock would work great to get it out of the way even with two up riding it shouldn't scrape the tire. What do you guys think???
Pretty cool looking if you ask me :thumb:
Fender details can make a bike really look sharp. Check your local statutes before you commit the bike to really easy excuses for being pulled over by johnny law. ;)
Those signals look like they -might- be 3-4 times the size of the screw heads. That's not very much room for very many LEDs. If you can dig up pictures of them ON/OFF in daylight / night it might prove a not so good choice.
Sure, it would rock if they put out as much or more light than stock signals while still looking coo, but I doubt it. :) Gotta give the cagers a HUGE billboard to announce your intentions, otherwise it's "I never saw you". :(
I have them, rider following me says they don't see them well unless it nightime. but ohh well, I try to ride like I'm invisible... since no one see's you anyways
enjoy

So are those the same lights?? They are regular incandescent bulbs anyway. They are not LED so no load issues or anything else. I cut my standard ones off and made myself some short stalks. I'm gonna give these a shot now anyway.
LEDs should be more than bright enough day or night
Kinda expected the shots of the signals + brake light to make the camera dim the exposure some. If it doesn't, they're not very bright. :(
waiho I think I've said this before but your bike looks slick mate :thumb:

thx alot!! well I try to make it as nice as possible without over doing it.
People somtimes ask me, what year is that GSXR... :cookoo:
Its probably the nicest looking F model I've seen.
I've got a 2005 blue and white one, but if I had the option, I would have got me a Balck 04. IMO they are the best looking of the lot! :thumb:
Your rear fender, front and rear blinker, rear sticker removal, tank protector, grips and unlabelled jardine really set it off.
And on a black bike the black oggy knobs actually look good. :thumb:
i've got those turn signals, they work well and look good. just be careful about the wiring, the first pair i got had a loose wire in it, and there's no way to open them up, fix, and then close them
i just installed these turn signals tonight and will post pictures soon enough, but I am worried they arent bright enough. I might have to take some night photography to see a comparison.
