that color is awesome!
Lee, I thought you sold that yrs ago to somebody local and they picked it up.........
Wish I had something to put it on...but how much did that cost? I see they talk about modifying Honda comstars on their site but they don't explain the cost. I want my 18" rear comstar cut down the 17" and widened to 4"...and my front 19" cut down to a 17X3.5.
i did sell it almost two years ago, never got picked up
mak it was about $300 to widen a wheel many years ago
Will it still fit a GS? W/ what size tire? any additional mods needed?
will fit gs like a stocker just need to shimm the sprocket and possibly tweak or fab a new brake arm-160 tire is ok ,wheel needs bearings/spacer has most of the cushdrive rubbers (all your stock stuff will interchange)

Would you just shim the rear sprocket? Or is it necessary to shim the front sprocket as well?
just the rear-enough to get chain to tire clearance
How much do you want for it as I am interested, PM with a price
Thanks,
Aaron
[EDIT Durr I saw the price willing for 75 shipped or something in that range. Having to get the wheel re-powder coated to a "useable" color is worrying me a bit in terms of cost [/EDIT]
good spray bomb paint is all of 6-7 bucks
Will spray paint really hold up on a wheel? I guess I assumed that it would just flake off, but I guess it depends on how you prep the surface right :thumb:?

Dupli-Color has a wheel coating you can buy. I'm hopefully going to use this, that is if the color I want is close enough.
