Title: Tank Cover
Post by: ucmustang on March 03, 2008, 08:45:28 PM
I recently repainted my 2001 GS500 and am currently looking for a tank cover.  I purchased a clear stick on cover but really want a black leather cover.  Does anyone know where I can purchase one?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You could try Dennis Kirk, which you'll pay an arm, and a leg..Or Ebay, maybe :icon_mrgreen:Or you could go to your local fabric store and do it yourself.I've found that many times they don't make what I want.. so...I make it! :thumb:

maybe you could buy some leather and make your own?   :dunno_white: just an idea if you didn't want to pay "an arm and a leg"

You could try an auto upholstery shop.We always kept scraps of leather. If someone wanted them we sold them cheap.
