anyone wanting to ride in the tampa st pete area let me know trying to find riders of gs 500s but everyone here seems to have 1000ccs or better lol oh well let me know!
ello gs'er.
i'm in brandon (tampa), and am going out to the TSB http://tampasportbikes.com meet tonight. This particular meet / eat is the stuntin crowd, and they're pretty good at it. Expect much trash talkin, much much playin around, but little to no squidly action on the way to the 'stunt spot'.
I'm no stunter, but with the Stunt for the Kids event coming up April 5th, I'll be hanging out with them a little more.
There are rides of varying speeds posted on TSB's forum, pick one and come hang out. FYI-
'mod' means moderate pace, which is much quicker than normal cage traffic.
'fast/quick' means it's insane, and something I won't attend. if you see a  after 'fast/quick' it's a deathwish run (don't go)
'slow' means sane, fun, and usually more tight twisties. yes, there are some really nice twisty country roads N, S, and E of tampa. these are the rides I usually hang with.
There are good many 250 ninja's and 500-600cc bikes that show up for the 'slow' rides, and usually if there is a large (20-30 isn't uncommon) 'mod' group, a smaller 'slow' group will split off the back, which is really cool.
I'm still learning a the routes, and really enjoy how organized (good leader, head counts at EVERY stop, good sweeper, RIDE AT YOUR OWN PACE mentality) the rides are. There's usually a nice 1/2 point fill up and snack location. Routes are NEVER published to prevent the local LEO's from stalking us, and handing out tix. :)
If you can make the meet-n-stunt tonight, or one of the rides this weekend, holler and I'll try to be in the same group.
If you wanna just hook up for a tour minus the organized groups that's cool too. PM for my #, we'll get up and wrench or ride, whatever.
Ride safe-
