well I bought a zx-6r after only riding a couple of hundred miles on the gs and sold it to my friend(too soon) I have been riding the ninja for a few short trips and still havent gotten used to the riding position. I rode the gs today and loved it leaned into the curves low and high speed without the nervous feeling I get with the ninja. I hope I can get as comfortable with it as I am with the gs. I was doing good until I dropped it in the driveway the other day washing it (low speed with flip-flops) that has spooked me a bit and made me nervous at low speeds. Anyway I love the ninjas looks but the gs rides so much more comfortably. I hope some of you guys have had that same feeling or at least tell me you have so I wont feel like a wuss.
Not a fan of Kwakers.I say buy the GS back. :thumb:
Yeah, a 600 is a different beast. It definitely takes a different amount of input to do anything. You'll get used to it, when I got my gixxer curves freaked me out because of how heavy and big it feels. Truth is your kwaka is probably lighter than the GS and with the proper input damn near as maneuverable. It's all in the skill and confidence.
maybe you need a suspension tune by a cool cat that knows his springs n dampers ?
congrats on a nice bike, hope you can find the position to you liking eventually. :thumb:
bro i miss my gs immensely  but youll get used to teh ninja soon neough were you can get to know it even better :thumb:
I had an 02 GS. It was pretty but I hated the riding position.
After the GS I got an 83 GPZ550 because it was cheap and I heard they were good. Not as sporty looking as the GS but I can ride all day without getting tired.
25K miles later. I liked it so much I bought another with pretty paint O0
Ha ha ... you miss the GS ...
Cool.
srinath.
I missed my GS when I had my Gixxer, I missed it a lot. Now that I have the Duc I don't miss the GS as much (still wouldn't mind finding one to put around town on)
I miss mine too. Have had a Ninja 650R for the last two years though, and love it to death.
I missed having something as flickable as the GS, so I bought a DR650 to keep the 650R company. Should be fun. :icon_mrgreen:
