If I did the sssa,I'd have to do the front end so I'd have matching wheels.

the bike has a full tank of fuel, that's reason enough to buy it! I agree that sssa is very sexy.

lol - agreed !

what is the deal with the aforementioned 'boner look' ? did i miss the memo about that being 'cool' ?

the sssa is a cool mod, no doubt, but i'd be worried about the frame not being stiff enough on the gs. not to mention some gs's being 20 years old, and the stresses.

somebody inform me !

Shipping cost from the UK might not be worth it. Might be cheaper to just get on off ebay ins the states and mod it yourself.

At work we have accounts with all the major shippers........I tend to get really good rates.  I could probably get it shipped for $20-30

I like street fighters.I just don't like the stuck up ass thats on some.Like I said before, that sssa set up and the matching front end would be the mutts nuts on a custom GS.

THe problem is .. The bike is 200 miles away from me , but he will let me have it for a deal ,

Remove the SSSA , the rear pod and all that crap , drop the engine into my 1996 , make a stock gs500 1996 ,

sell that with tax and mot ... money back ,  and parts gone and a free SSSA etc :P

The GS frame isn't going to see any added stress from an sssa...just like no other bike would.

£75 for the VFR arm, wheel and brake parts.....not a bad price considering this outfit dont haggle on prices and have a reputation for being expensive
