I haven't ridden since November, except for riding up and down the block a few weeks ago. Didn't open the seat until today, though, and I almost freaked out. I haven't figured out who the residents are/were.

Whoa, that's awesome! Must've have a REALLY hard time getting all those twigs around the fender.
We've had squirrels, wasps and now birds taking up homes in GS's.
but seriously, can you blame them!
Lol most birds can't afford to pay premium prices and the gs500 is abit like travel lodge - cheep but cheerful.
Those posh birds up in Beverly Hill probably make nests under the seats of Ducatis and MV's lol

looks like the Common House Wren nests we used to get in MS. These are c0cky little birds ! When I would sweep / blow off the rear deck this little 3-4 inch bird would squawk at me from 3 feet away, raising all kind of hell. He'd come up and steal fur from the dog while he slept for his next too. Coooooooocky birds !
Now they're squatting in gs's !? lol
:o
Bloody 'ell!
I hope they have homeowner's insurance. :icon_twisted:
That's a small birds nest.I get them in my out buildings soffits. What species of bird,I'm not sure. They are small and light grey.
Be sure and check your air box too :thumb: That a very popular residence for rodents :icon_mrgreen:
My friends dirt bike had about 2 cups worth of dog food in his.. there was a squirrel storing his winter supply in there
Cool!
Out here in SoCal we get rat's nests in car engines frequently, if the cars sit for a month or two. Mild weather and lots of trees that have stuff they like to eat. Bad part is they love to chew up wires, especially plug wires.
lols
 That's great. I wonder if they'll enjoy riding with you.
looks like GS really is a NOOB FRIENDLY bike
