Title: New exhaust, rejet completed
Post by: lnb001 on March 15, 2008, 05:25:31 PM
So I finally confirmed all my hoses were properly connected and after replacing the fuel lines I started my bike up and let it sit.  The smoke that was from yesterday stopped so I am assuming it was from whatever was on the headers.  I took my bike out for a ride and man could I feel a difference.  I rejetted 22.5/65/147.5 with two washers but didn't adjust the air mixture screw.  I also put in a lunchbox.  The bike seems to be running great, when I throttle back from idle there is no stall or anything, it has backfired a couple times but I am thinking that is normal with a brand new exhaust and will go away?  The exhaust sounds normal; however, there is an extremely faint clicking noise.  Any ideas?  Thanks!
