Title: LED Turn signals yet again
Post by: Toogoofy317 on March 17, 2008, 07:36:01 PM
Well, I went and redid everything I tried putting these darn things in with just the kurykurin load balancer and the lights would come on but not in sync. So I added the electronic relay and now it all just flashes slowly like it is supposed to but not right. With just the electronic relay they just come on no flashing. So, what gives!?!?!?!?

I have an appointment to take it into the shop on Friday I would really like to avoid doing this because I will be charged $63 an hour for them to "fix" it! I just spent three weeks in the hospital I really don't have the money for this so HELP Please!

YEAHHHH! Finally got it! I ended up having to take out the idiot light but they all work now! I can go enjoy our 80 degree weather down here in the sunshine state! I love Florida well just this time of year at least.

Thanks to those who helped out on the other post. AND it is great to be out of the hospital!

Welcome to the compulsive turn signal button masher's club.  Club dues are two turn signal bulbs per year.

Glad to hear you are out of the hospital (nothing serious I hope), and were able to resolve your turn signal issue.
I see that you are in Florida. If your near W Palm Bch and ever want a riding partner, just let me know.

Mate you need a non polarised LED for the idiot light  :thumb:

Would a diode kit also work for this issue. I don't know if I can stomach looking at an LED right now!

I just did my 7500 service today I am blown away at how much these services cost! I did the prepaid maintainance and was told the average price was $308 what on Earth do they do that costs that much money !?!?!

Is the GS500 reallly that tough to work on. I'm good on maintainance now but in the future? The service rep said it was two to three times harder than a gixxer why is this?

I was thinking of riding down to the Key's for a weekend. I saw a show on the history channel and it just looked so pretty! I went once about five years ago but had a sinus infection and didn't enjoy it like I should! So, I could swing by West Palm to say Hi! Always, looking to meet new people. I'm in Kissimmee myself so if you go to Disney World you'll be in my part of town.

LOL, My friends and I were just talking last week about how we need to ride to the Keys. We were thinking of planning something for mid to late May. Not sure when your planning to go, but I'll keep ya posted on our trip.

Your in Kissimmee...kewl.  I am there about every 3-4 months to do the Parks, as I have a Disney Seasonal pass. But I usually drive the car.
However, my friends and I always ride the bikes up for a long weekend in October for Halloween Horror Nights, then ride over to Tampa for Howl-o-scream.

Cool, would love to meet up sometime! I love Howl- O- Scream. Not a big fan of Holloween Horror Nights. The last time I went my body did not like their fog machines. We were leaving at the end of the night you know how slow that is and I got stuck right where one was and in less than a minute could not breathe and had chest pain ( I have a heart problem hence the last hospitalization as well as Crohn's flare up) so I ended up in the ER! Not a good end to a night!

Anyhow I was thinking a little earlier than May but after the hospital stint my finances are shot so it may be that long before I get down to the Keys. But, I would enjoy going with a group I think it is more fun that way.
