Hello everyone.
I got new tires.
I understand some bike shops want to charge me my left "/\/ut" because of the time it takes to take the wheels off.
I have taken my front tire off, so far, since I have to put some new fork seals on as well.
Anyway, what is the 'proper' way of taking my wheel and new tire to the bike shop, or a place that can actually change and balance the tire. With or without the disc brake? With or without the bearings? ( I can't take the bearings out, so I am hoping I can just leave them in for a tire change.)
I will return later witht he rear tire as well.
thanks.

Leave the brake disc on and the bearings in.

Yep, that's they way my local shop wanted it. They only charged like $10 too.
what they all said, youd end up paying alot more, if you brought whole bike to then, cause youd bepaying them to remove wheel, from bike, remove tire from wheel, replace tire, re-install wheel, and such, so remove both, let them replace tire, re-install yourself. if you dont know how, let us know. we'll guide you through it :thumb:
