Title: The Buddha doing carbs again
Post by: The Buddha on March 19, 2008, 11:41:44 AM
K I had silently stopped it ... but its getting to the point where I may be able to do em again.
$45 for a re-jet, light cleaning is included as in, I open the floats, pilots, mains, diaphragms, etc ... Add return shipping.
Total sheite carbs may cost more.
Sheite being stripped and stuck may cost more.
I'll drill out the caps on the mix screws - included in the $$ but nothing else needing drilling is. Starts at $5 per. I break it, you buy it ... Or, like your risk. However in over a 100 carbs (lost count at 100 I'd say, heck I did 3 of seamax's carbs over the last 3 years - dude it have been cheaper for you to learn) I am yet to lose a carb. I've drilled out a good few pilots, and several 100 float screws and top screws.
So, Yea, send it over, PM me for address. Make sure you add a note in the carb box as to what setup you got, I am working on turn around times, which have been dismal this winter, but its gonna get better, a lot better I hope.
BTW I just did seamax's carbs and had it back to him in under 3 weeks ... and he needed an impossible part (a set of needles). I also send one more of my neighbors a set of slides, guides and diaphragms in 2 days flat ... literally 2 days from when I bought the carb rack at the wreckers.
Cool.

He does excellent work.  :thumb:

If I wasn't so lazy I WOULD learn but I'm trying to stimulate the economy.  :icon_mrgreen:

This set was good seamax. I think the first set you sent me ... still stands as the dirtiest carb I have seen. I also had to drill out literally everything in that first one. If that worked (I also was 3-4 years less experienced then) ... all the rest after it is a piece of cake.
Cool.
