yep
Yeah that guy had video equipment and would follow you around the gap and sell you the video. I asked around about the guy last summer when I was there, and I heard he sold his goldwing and he's riding a smaller bike now..
I am told no one ever outran him on a video pass and that several have tried.
:o That guy is a superhero! Can't believe a Wing can take to corners like that ,kudos, kudos!
"Marge, put on a fresh pot of coffee while I wait for these slow-ass gixxers to get the #$%@ out of the way. Oh, would you microwave a croissant while you're at it?"
thats a man who knows what his machine can, and cannot do    cant wait for teh gs meet at teh dragon. i know teh dragon from my HD rides, but time to try it on a gs :icon_twisted:
not only does he know his machine well, he knows the road well too. :thumb:
The guy on the GW deserves props, but the chase bike needs some recognition too (even though the yellow GW was pulling away). If you listen to the video, you can hear the chase bike scrapin' hard parts in almost every corner.
I wonder what he was riding. Good stuff. 8)

It says there somewhere it was another Wing :o
you guys have gotta come over for a ride on highway 36 sometime. Its like the dragon only a little more open. Nice big sweepers, some of the biggest trees you'll see in your life with the giant sequoias and redwoods. It'll change 35-40 degrees on you in 15 minutes going up and down the hills and valleys. Beautiful country and about a 4 hour or so ride from highway 101 across to I5. Then if you're really wanting a cruise, go from 5 to 101 and back down to the unknown coast or down the scenic drive south which is an ancient forest all the way up to central oregon coast where it starts to get boring. As much as there is so little to do here, its some of the best riding around!

Hopefully this shows some of the unreal riding we truly get to experience here.
