SOLD SOLD SOLD
Very Good condition except for small chip in the very front (see picture) it is much smaller than a dime. No leaks, dents or rust. The paint is still very glossy. It is off of a 2005, but will fit other years, 2004-2008 I think.

Do you know if it would fit on a 1998 GS?
thx
It will with sum modding , ask ben2go , hes got a 04 tank on a 89'
Yep!I gots me an 04 tank on an 89.I ain't tellin my secret. It's an easy swap.Try to get the bracket for the 01+ tank. Some tanks require a little shimming at the bracket, some do not.Suzuki's toleranences where a little off.The only other deal is the tail plastics have nothing holding them after the 01+ tank upgrade.Making a simple bracket to hold the original bushing is no biggie. My brackets bolt down to the frame with the tank.I gots no pic of this but I gots a pic of the tank on my 89.Tank still has the factory paint. It looks black but it's really metalic charcoal. Here's da pic.
The seat is the other issue some people bring up.I don't remember when the changed seat styles but the newer seat style doesn't have any support under it after the old one is removed.I tried this and it wasn't pretty.I have another seat that I'm cutting down to match the tank.Basicly you cut the seat where the tank line matches up.Sorry this is an old pic of my bike.It has under gone some changes.

Yes,any GS tank will fit.Suzuki's loose tolerances caused me problems with my tank.It was to low in the rear so I made spacers to raise it up.I used 1/2 inch pvc electrical conduit. That's just what I had laying around. Most other people have had no problem with just bolting it on.I kinda like things just so or I'm not happy with it.
