Looks like fun. The only thing I'd do different is to get off the interstate. Unless you're on a tight schedule, it's a LOT more fun and interesting off the superslab. Texarkana to Gulfport could be an interesting historical ride on two-lanes.
I covered some of the same territory (west of Dallas) last May on a long trip. The GS was comfy for me on that trip. Best of luck! :thumb:

im actually considering hwy 67 from big lake to texarkana, it all depends on what my lil bro feels like, hell be riding his honda shadow sabre 1100, that in itself is a good trip. weve got a chase truck with trailer and tools which my wife will be driving and stoping as she sees fit for the photos, as thats her hobbie personally, im all about the ride.but a stop will have to be made in dublin texas for a case or two of dr. pepper, however most other stops are as of now undetermined. now if i can only contain myself till the 21st ill be set.
