This has got to be the prettiest GS I've ever seen: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150232246351 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150232246351)
I'd love to know where that fairing came from as it looks a lot better than the one Suzuki are putting on the 'F' these days (IMHO). I really like the way it covers the engine casing completely, although checking the oil level must be a real pain. Does anyone recognise it? Is it stock or after-market?
Its a stock fairing for the older Pre 01+ bikes . my friend has a Gs in that exact colour
Those fairings are made by TCP in Spain and some were fitted to E`s by the supplying dealers when they were sold new. Thats the later version with the headlamp lenz, earlier ones were a slightly different design and had no lenz over the headlamps.

They are stock.......well kind of. They were fitted to some brand new bikes before they were sold, its just that they are not Suzuki parts.
I love the TCP fairing. Reminds me of one of my favorite zuks of all time. The RF series ..
Ah , Thanks Sledge :thumb:
Wow the GS with the GSXR fairing look awesome.
How hard is that to do?
Its a Brazillian Kit , They make them , i cant remember the link , but as far as i no the send u the fairings and it fits on the mounts

I have that fairing and the tail. I was one of the first to get it when it was prototyped so I got a big discount. It would cost you the price of your bike to get it now shipped from Brazil. They have a new kit now that has dual headlights. I think it's ugly. Mine was a single gxsr headlight style which looks much more clean.
Here's the site..click on the US flag in the uppper right for english.

Is that the put-a-yoshi-sticker-on-a-stock-can upgrade I see there?
I want that too! Looks around a thousand bucks. Wonder if you can rape a gixxer and do it. There is one that has been sitting in the parking lot more than mine has and I got a sprained ankle. I don't think they'd even noticed if it uhm went naked.
I gotta start scraping together my nickle and dimes!

Seamax , do you need to take the fairing off for oil check ?
With TCP it's hard to get to the dipstick because of small clearance , GSR is snugly fit I see
The new GSR fairing looks amazing :o

Yes, you do need to take the lower fairing off to check oil or adjust idle, etc. I usually do this when she's naked and fill her to about 3.5 quarts of oil. That would last me thru the whole spring summer and fall season withou any issues.
I will take pics of her tonight while she is still naked. Will also post some pics with full fairing after another layer of flat black and matte clear.
I'm itching to ride so I'm rushing some things.
The GS with the GSX-R fairing was the shizzle!
Ok I got some pics of her naked...she's not running well yet. I have some fuel leak issues. Once that is resolve I'll take some pics of her full faired.

She has a mean growl too. :thumb: Very Buellish. I just need to get this carb leak problem fix. Will take some more pics of her nice tail when it's nice outside again.

^^^^^ looks like yamaha r6. I like it a lot! I like the price a little bit less ;)
PS. SEAMAX: your bike looks like a beast! Awesome job there!! Keep it up. Sound clip of the exhaust would be nice :thumb:
It's no necesary to take off the bottom TCP fairing to check the oil, there's enough room to use some electrician pliers and a rag to unscrew the oil cap, I do use a rag to avoid scratching the cap, and then you can pick up the dipstick and check the oil. Only if you have really BIG hands there will be a problem. To change the oil then yu'll have to remove 6 screws on each side of the fairing, and take off the bottom fairing as a hole, no big deal.
