Title: If you were a salesman?
Post by: jeepgrl369 on April 03, 2008, 10:11:18 AM
Just for fun and information!

What would you say to me that would persuade me to buy a GS500F?

I'm sure some has already asked this type of question before..  :icon_razz:

I am pretty set on making the Gs500 my first bike!  Just wanted some input from everyone!!

Thanks everybody!!!!! :thumb:

"It's comfortable and handles extremely well.  It's an all around beginner friendly bike and priced good too.  Light, gas friendly, and will provide a lot of fun for the beginner.  But if you you really want pep, you should go with this brand new '08 Honda RR" That is a dealer speaking on that last part, the first part is my opinion.  I bought an '04 GS500 for my first bike and love it.  I had never ridden a motorcycle before in my life and when I got on the GS for the first time it seemed completely natural!

I would say..."If you leave it for a few months you might find yourself in the unique position of owning the last one ever made  :icon_mrgreen:"......the end cant be far off now.

It's abotu half the price of any other full fairing bike out there.  If you are a taller person you might look at the gs650f its new this year its just like the gs500f but a little bigger

I am a salesman.

I put people on GS and EX 500's all day. usually i am saying.

"well that ninja 250 is nice, but you can probably handle this 500 just fine,... Have a seat,... *sits on bike* now this bike is a great beginner bike, and its something you can grow into. (they say) I like the way it looks like those gsxr's... Yes it does... The bike gets 55-60 mpg, as you can feel its very manageable so you can focus on learning to ride and not on its weight and power. and I always top it off.... I have been riding for 7 years, I own 2 ducatis and a SV, but I ride my GS every day. Its that good!" :)
