Same here, but I still find a way to spend all my money on my bike.  :icon_confused: Maybe I'm a poor motorcycle owning college student!

yeah i havent noticed any money being saved yet on gas because i have been riding so much but sooner or later i can start saving that way

Back up a minute.You need to know if your tach is cable driven or electric.It's a challenge to change from 1 to the other.

it is an 06 i thought they were analog?

They are all analog, hence the needle.

89-02 are mechanical - uses a cable attached to the head.
04+ are electronic - uses a wire to get a pulse signal from the coils.

ok i guess i would need an 04+ tachometer if anyone has one
