You can buy a 2000 square foot 3 bed 2 bath lake house with a half acre+ lot here for $180,000.We do have some million + houses here too. That's what most of them are here.Mountain homes here start out at $250,000 for an old house on a .25 acre lot.  :dunno_white:

Real estate prices are retarded. The government needs to put a cap on that.I bet it didn't cost maybe $10 to 15,000 to build it in 78.An elderly man I knew, paid $15,000 to completely build and furnish his house in 76.He said if he sold it,he wouldn't ask that much for it,because it had been lived in.After he passed his children sold the house for appraised value.$122,000.

It was built at the very start of the boom out here, but I'd still guess it cost a solid 100k+  The instant property owners realized that the island had resort potential prices just skyrocketed.

I think house should be cheaper since there is wear and tear on them over the years

and you know most real estates don't fix the big stuff esp if their not noticiable when u buy a house -_-

i just think house prices are stupid and GAS PRICES -__-  i'm dieing over here with 3.19 a gallon thats the 87  or w/e the cheapest one is   :2guns:
