So I have been looking at all the rejet threads and I have an odd question. I don't care about getting more power out of my GS, but I would like to improve the warm up cold blooded thing. With that in mind would it make since to go with larger pilots and leave the rest alone? As I understand it the pilots supply fuel at idle, so in my mind this should make the bike a little less lean at a cold start, but allow me to leave the bike stock. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. I am planning on doing the valves and a carb balance soon and it would be a good time to replace my pilots and clean the carbs. I have a 2001 with 11,700 miles.
Thanks
Steve
I replaced my pilots and didn't notice much of a difference. What helped me is to have an extra battery to jump the gs with. Plus it saves battery life.
