Post by: stoo on August 21, 2003, 03:17:06 PM
at about 6000 revs my bike rattles all unnesseccary (sorry about the spelling) i thought it might be due to no tank rubber but since i got one on extended delivery it still rattles like hell. could the cam tentioner be at fault??  also i'm trying damn hard to get my knee down but keep losing my bottle!!! any tips

If the engine starts to vibrate at 5000-6000 rpm you'll probably need to synchronise the carbs. anyway good luck with it

If your trying to get your knee down, take a little speed off, you may be pushing it a little to fast.  You don't have to be absolutly  on the edge to do it.  Also get farther off the bike and push it away from you through the turn staying balanced.

Why do you wish to get your knee down? I like mine right up on the bike with me.

Title: Carb synch...

6K vibes are not carb synch...carbs synch makes a difference only at idle...unless they are so far off that you feel it at 6k ... but if so it will be hell down lower.
Cool.
