I wondered who you were referring to by 'her' for a second there - I wondered what you had done to the woman.

Glad to hear you're okay (or I assume you are as you haven't mentioned any loss of limbs etc). I dropped my 125 loads of times and there was never more than bruising to me and scratches to the bike, thank God. I'm trying to take better care of the GS so far...

Yeah I would have dropped her, you know knock her out.

They're f%$king insane,  I'm waiting to see what happens when one sideswipes a Ferrari.  I know I'd be ready to break some skulls.   I know the only Ferrari authorized service tech on the island and he's done inspection on 5 deliveries so far this year s there's a ton of em out there now.

Sorry to hear about the drop. If  you need some turn signals I got three perfect ones and one with a broken stalk. If you need one or more let me know.

As far as driving with tourist at least you don't ride in Orlando! This year has been hellish! I had one tourist cut me off in my convertible. He got up to the red light and screams at me " Do you know what a tourist is?"  He then proceeded to cuss me out at the light then got out of his car! I took off he was following me and threatening me. I ended up having to call FHP as a woman I was a little taken a back. Thank Goodness though I'm not your "girly" girl after years of being an EMT and security guard I don't get skeered too easy but this guy I guess just lost it.  I can't imagine if that would have happened on my bike. I guess I probably would have floored it and gotten the heck out of there but still. Road Rage is getting bad down here.

Isn't FL one of those 'If you feel threatened.....' states???  Stick a gun in his face next time and ask him if he thinks 9 is the caliber or how many seconds he has to apologize    Just kidding, I hope you tards realize that........

Why not try a mod that would help?

1. Find an old army bike and remove the rifle holster.

2. Attach rifle holster to GS.

3. Put rifle in holster.

4. Find tourist.

5. "Suprise" tourist... :2guns:

Well, at least you didn't have the luck of some guy that I just read about on the ninja250 site. He had just bought a new 2008 Ninja 250, had one of the admins bring it home for him. He hadn't had his MSF course yet, nor much experience on a bike at all I gathered, he couldn't wait until after the course in a week or so to ride it. He dropped it within a mile of the admin's house. He cracked the fairing and broke some bones in his foot, so now he's in a cast.  :nono:
Ahh well, live and learn I guess, Tony

    There's a group of guys at the bar I frequent that are convinced I'm NSA or CIA.  At first, they thought I was an undercover cop, but they eventually gave up on that idea upon seeing my behavior when angry :icon_rolleyes:

Honestly,

I am thinking of going ahead and getting my class "g" security licsense. Which also doubles as a concealed weapons permit. In the car is easy to place but where on the bike I can't imagine wrecking or falling over ( already did that ) with a loaded weapon could be quite interesting. Any ideas?

Oh, yeah the second day I owned my bike ( just finished MSF) I misjudge the throttle response and the bike went out from under me. Broke the brake lever and badly scratched the engine case. In February while I was in the hospital someone hit my bike in the parking lot knocked it over and did $700 worth of damage to the fairings and turn signals. And then three weeks ago fell over and killed my ankle it is not broken but twice it's size and still purple. My poor baby I gotta be better to him or he's not gonna love me no more.

enough of my babling

Check out the BMW and Ducati boards for carry tips while on the bike.  There are a surprising amount of both that carry while riding.
