Title: Updated pics of my bike and a new drawing.
Post by: afi1 on April 09, 2008, 05:00:39 PM
Here's some pictures of my bike as it sits now.  Also, a picture I drew of my friend misty on my bike.  Let me know what you think...

Ever been to a drag race?  Less un-sprung weight and rotating mass.

It's been chopped and re-packed.

Ehhh, didn't think about drag racing it since it's got a stock length swing arm.  Makes sense though.  How's that rear-view camera working out for you?

Looks good, I was thinking about doing that to mine.

Works great.  It's harder to be fast with a stock wheel base.

True enough.  If drag racing is what floats your boat, more power too ya.  I'll stick to scrubbing knees, that is what my bike's built for after all.  I keep toying with the idea of getting one of those camera's every time I go to Wal-Mart.  I guess I should get a speedo first though.  Do you have it wired to the ignition or independently?  Any trouble with LEO's over it?

Rotors wiegh enough.  And is't unsprung, and rotating mass.  It makes more of a difference than you'll ever know.  It stopps fine.  You'll see plenty of Hayabusas, 14s and other bikes even with forced induction stopping from insane speeds at the end of the track.  Cruisers weigh 2 and 3 hundred lbs. more than my Gixxer and most make do with one rotor.
