Hi, does anyone know the fork oil capacity of a 94 GS500, or, is there a location on the bike where it might be listed?
Thank You,
Kelly
The following threads in the FAQ give some useful information:

http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=25706.0 (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=25706.0)
In particular, step 11a of the second link says "Measure out between 375mL and 382mL of new fork oil"
:)
Thank You

I think you mean fully
compressed?
Also, 4.5" = 114 mm - this seems to be greater spacing (i.e. less oil) than recommended by Haynes?
**Note for original poster: All measurements quoted here assume that the stock springs are being used. Oil level will be different for Progressive or other springs because the spring volume is different than stock.**From Haynes (RE: GS500 '89 - '97):
Fork oil type SAE1OW fork oil
Fork oil capacity:
UK K, L, and M models, and all US models 382 cc
UK N, P, R, S, T and V models 377 cc
Fork oil level
UK K, L, and M models, and all US models 99 mm
UK N, P, R, S, T and V models 105 mm
Oil level is measured from the top of the tube with the fork spring removed and the leg fully compressed
Yes.Sorry.With the fork compressed measure from the top.
