Title: rear turn signal question /HELP
Post by: clemsonfan71 on April 12, 2008, 03:46:11 PM
changed out front signals, no problems.  Changed out rear signals by cutting wires just inside tail and trying to resplice the wires on my new signals.  They do nothing but if you hook one of the olds up with one new one you get hazzards all light up when you try to signal.

What did you do up front?  Did you bridge any connections??

no bridging that I was aware of just strait wired like stock and the same with the rear,  I bought the same signals for front and rear, the wires were short so I had to cut the rear wires on the stock signals and hooked up new ones and nothing.  RE intalled old ones the they work fine, nothing wrong with new ones when wired @ front they blink fine

YOu need to explain in more detail what you did, and what is wrong..

Sounds to me like you wired something up wrong. Maybe you should explain in more detail how you wired it up.

If you put the old signals back on, and still doesn't work, you messed something up

when I put both old signals on they work fine, but one old and one new all four signals blink when I signal and when both new are hooked up nothing.

sounds like it is because of the voltage differance.

are the new signals "led" type?
